In our TAB Studio, there is no "do nothing" studio.  If you are stuck in a rut...get moving.  These are some ways to get a  creative spark.


Listen to music

Go for a walk

Doodle

Explore your city

talk to a friend

daydream

read

experiment with art materials, line, colors, shapes

leave the house --go to museums, the zoo, a park, vacation

Pay attention to news events and issues

ask questions

relax

don't be afraid to try something out....even if it doesn't work out, MISTAKES ARE PROOF YOU ARE TRYING!

COLLAGE MINI-LESSON

Fast Track to Opening Studios

Students in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade have been artists in our TAB Studio for up to 4 years!  They have had instruction and used the Choice Art Studios for up to 2 years.  They know where to find materials.  They have knowledge of the routines.  They have been empowered with skills to create what they have envisioned.  We are moving quickly through beginning of the year learning to open Choice Art sooner.  Students must still demonstrate skills and knowledge at their developmental level in order to start Choice.
