August and September --Unlocking Studios
Meramec artists in grades 1-5 unlock a different studio each week by completing art skills in their studio book • as student artists explore and experiment with art mediums and tools, the book becomes a reference for students to access throughout the year • work in the studio books also becomes an on going assessment as well as a place to plan and reflect on artwork
